The distance between people is really important to have a good connection with someone. The backcover creates autamatically a connection with what you see in front of you. It also creates a comfertable feeling that you don’t need to worry about what is going on behind you. Because of that you won’t feel private or isolated.
When you enter the box you feel already disconnected from the society. You have a place for yourself, but the amount of diconnecting is in line with feeling comfortable or not. You have the feeling that you are together in a different world, you can be private and isolated to together. The connection with eachother is important so still feel connected with the real world. By sharing an object you already feel a connection with the person you share it with. But the way you use you body is therefore also important, because you still can feel left out.
